Conestoga’s SMART Centre has been awarded $1.75 million over five years from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) to support its renewal as a designated Technology Access Centre (TAC).
This funding enables the SMART Centre to continue helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) overcome innovation challenges, while also expanding into the zero-emission vehicle ecosystem and agrifood sector.
Adventus was engaged by Conestoga College to conduct market research that explored the potential demand for the original SMART Centre and earlier this year completed a follow-up study that investigated the potential interest in expanded SMART Centre services.
